ReplyDeleteHi Jade - love your fabrics - the florals are fabulous - I've just started trying to find vintage fabrics and managed to make a purchase of sheets with ballerinas on them a few months ago - I'm pretty sure they're vintage :) I've just started following your blog - I love that you're from tassie too - that's where I was born but I live in NSW now :)
ReplyDeleteHolly Hobbie! I had the doona cover and sheet set on my bed for years as a little girl... and I still have the cover to pass along to my little girl when she moves out of her cot, such wonderful memories are all wrapped up with that gorgeous vintage gal! I love an Aussie blog, so nice to read along with someone in the same country, thanks for the chance! :)
ReplyDeleteI had to stop searching ebay for vintage fabrics as it was taking over my life. I have a lovely stash of chenille bed spreads and vintage sheets and I cut into them occasionally...but only occasionally.
ReplyDeleteI am following your blog by email. Thank you for the chance to win that gorgeous set of vintage beauty.
I'll be in draw #2. I have a considerable amount of vintage fabrics - but can never have enough.

I am from the US so would like to enter draw@. I have been collecting old hankies and doilies and am looking for some ideas on what to make.
ReplyDeleteMy stash is small but includes Strawberry Shortcake from the 70's. My Grandmother and MIL enjoyed crochet so have some lovely old doilies. I would love to add this gorgeous collection to mine - thank you for the opportunity! :)
ReplyDeleteFrom Oregon. My stash has expanded to 2 1/2 rooms of my house. I haunt garage sales/estate sales where I pick up anything sewing related. You never know when you will need some felt/fur/leather/hollie hobbie/marimekko/etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway and please enter mine.
Well I'm on the Gold Coast so I guess I'm up for draw 1! Yay gorgeous fabrics! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI am keen for draw one to add to my bright vintage sheet collection.

ReplyDeleteI'm ADDICTED to vintage fabric, vintage sheets, vintage pillowcases, vintage lace. My collection keeps growing and I'm thinking I might need to find a bigger storage space for all my treasures! I love turning gorgeous vintage sheets into dresses and rompers for little girls.
Can you believe that last week, I actually sold some of my sheets? I felt so sick uploading them to facebook to sell :-/

Hello fellow Aussie. I am a little in love with vintage. I have quite a collection of fabric...all spilling out of my cupboard...and I would say that the vitage fabric is amongst my favourite of them all. You can see what I have done with some of them here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Adore-Handmade/303052216421807?ref=hl#!/media/set/?set=a.410348622358832.95268.303052216421807&type=3

ReplyDeleteFound you via Cass can sew and I now follow your blog and via email. I have a small collection of vintage fabric (i think) it's very difficult to tell unless you know the history, I pick it up mostly from the op shops. I am from Aus, please enter me for the draw thanks. lollylocks@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI am an Australian resident (hoorah!)...my vintage stash was pretty good until recently, when I was given a sewing machine for my birthday and started doing all the sewing projects I'd been wanting to do for such a long time! I've been collecting vintage fabrics for years (mostly from op-shops where ever I could find them!), but had been holding off doing much with them until I had a half-decent sewing machine and some great patterns. Now I have both of those things! Yay! I haven't moved on to sewing clothes yet (except a little dress for my niece) but am planning to have a try of it soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity! X
I have a collection of vintage fabrics from my mother and from my early days of sewing. I do love what they look like when put together. I am not too sure what the Holly Hobby appliques are but heck - enter me in the international draw anyway please.
ReplyDeleteI recently started finding and selling vintage fabrics. Although only a couple have sold on Etsy. Please enter me into #2 as I am in the U.S. Such a great giveaway! Holly Hobby to go with the ones I found in a thrift shop.
